 Elayne Ingram

other interviews

Dante Foster interviewed Elayne Ingram on November 16, 2001 and wrote the following statement about that experience;

"Elayne and I spoke in the living room of her home in Dillingham, Alaska.  She shared her story and her rather formidable insight over the course of 6 hours and as many mugs of piping hot green tea.  Elayne is a natural teacher whose calm demeanor and purposeful way of speaking are riveting.  It was a genuine pleasure to meet Elayne and her granddaughter (with whom she was living at the time).  Both are gifted singers with a great passion for music whose generosity instantly puts visitors at ease.  I will not soon (or ever) forget the time we shared."
